Former petroleum minister Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke is in the news in a major way. If things go like they look so far, jail might be her next destination. Maybe I have been eager to see her being probed, that’s why I’m feeling like the current speed with which the case is being handled is simply too slow. There should be special courts for government officials like her, hence speeding up the process and delivering justice in a timely manner. After all, Nigerian government officials of the last administration wasted no time looting this nation, so the system should waste none nabbing them.
