Ishaku Ada Ali was yesterday installed as the 25th Aku-Uka of Wukari in Taraba State, following his selection by the four kingmakers guided by strong ritual rites.
The installation rites took place at Puje, a reserved area where all traditional and spiritual activities of the Jukun people take place.
It could be recalled that the Wukari Traditional Council had on Friday January 14, 2022 held Pankya – the official transition of former Aku-Uka, Dr. Shekarau Angyu Masa-Ibi Kuvyu II who joined his ancestors in October last year.
Governor Ishaku, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Istifanus Gbana, expressed happiness over the success of the event and urged the new Aku-Uka to bring peace and unity in Jukun land.
