In a long treatise he called ‘Grand Deception: Another look at the War on terror’ he had concluded that the world needed a global force for freedom to counter what his government was about to unleash on the rest of humanity. In his own words:
‘This is no longer an issue just for Americans. It is now a global battle that cuts across all lines of nationality, race religion, language, culture, economic status and level of education. This is a battle in which we are all united by a common cause. That includes Christians, Jews, Muslims, Americans, Afghans, Iraqis, Russians, Chinese, Mexicans, Somalians, Croatians, Serbs, Australians – literally everyone in the world who seeks freedom. I am not talking about government. I am talking about people.
‘We must not be tricked into pitting Christians against Muslims or Muslims against Jews or Jews against Christians or any other combination of religion against religion. No matter how we may differ over theology, the one thing on which we agree is that it is God’s plan for all men to be free. That is our common cause, and that is our rallying cry that will bring millions into our ranks. We will not be able to defeat the global force of despotism without building a global counter-force for freedom.
 We are now engaged in World War III, a war involving every nation and every human being on the planet. You and I are involved whether we like it or not. We cannot escape, there is no place to hide. The only question is when we will commit to battle.  If we wait until there is no longer any controversy and all of our friends clearly see that the war on terrorism is a GRAND DECEPTION, then we will have waited too long. The time to step forward is now.’
 This warning was given to us 12 years ago. At the time it sounded a bit far-fetched but when we look at the happenings around us today we will believe that Mr Griffin had been vindicated. We did not step forward to set up a global counter-force for freedom to check mate the deception that was America’s war on terror and today it is a global monster that is attacking all peoples and places on earth. You have only to make a quick check of places where so-called Islamists or jihadist are waging wars on innocent people, in order to establish Islamic governments, to know that the deception is truly global.
But we must not forget how it started. It all began with a lie called September 11th terror attacks. Two days ago, the architects of that lie and the few gullible fools who still believe it, commemorated that orchestrated carnage, that worst of all manufactured terrors. The rest of us thank God that more than half the world’s population today know that September 11th was an inside, job committed against the American people by the Bush administration, solely to find the right pretext to attack and occupy oil-rich Muslim lands.
Because today we live in a world civilized enough not to tolerate the bloody conquests of past centuries, they had to demonize Muslims to justify the global theft and brigandage known as the war on terror.
Thirteen years after four unmanned drones (we have long since known that they were not four Boeing planes) were sent, each to the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, to the Pentagon Building in Washington and to a destination in Pennsylvania which failed and crashed into a field, we now know for a fact that the war on terror is being waged under false pretences. But it is being waged in different parts of the globe under different guises with different brands of the mythical Al-Qa’ida network operating.
In Nigeria the jihadists go by the name of Boko Haram. In Somalia they are called Al-Shabab. In Iraq they were formally Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) but when that Franchise was leased to other Arab States like Yemen and Syria, the new terror group in Iraq is now known as the Islamic State or ISIS. In Mauritania and Morocco we have Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb or AQIM; while in Mali they are simply the Ansar-el-Islam. These are all supposed to be offshoots or affiliates of the original Al-Qaida, allegedly founded by Osama bin Laden and responsible for attacking the United States on September 11th 2001.
But as early as October 5th 2001, less than a month after the atrocity had been committed, Carol Valentine, an American activist had sounded the alarm that there were no suicide hijackers on the planes of September 11th. In a piece she called ‘There were no suicide hijackers on September 11th’ Ms Valentine argued that only planes equipped with Global Hawk Technology which enabled others from the ground to remote-control them to desired destinations were used to commit that mass murder. She posted a 15-page treatise debunking the claim the claim that 19 suicidal Arabs were behind 9/11.
A year later, with the benefit of more research and access to more information, French journalist Thierry Meyssan supported her claims with a book he called ‘9/11 the Big Lie’. In it he showed the result of extensive research which proved that there were indeed no suicide hijackers on September 11th but also there were no planes. According to him missiles which looked like planes and had a droning sound were used to hit the four targets of 9/11. Now that drones have ‘come out’ and are the weapon of choice for President Obama’s targeted assassinations in the Muslim World, we know better what Mr Meyssan was trying to describe.
Probably inspired by these two, lots of other writers and researchers joined the search for the truth about September 11th 2001. Soon the 9/11 Truth Movement was found. Through their diligent and extensive research we got to know that all the claims made in the official story of 9/11 were indeed lies that couldn’t stand the test of close scrutiny. As of today, so many books and documentaries have been made debunking every aspect of the official version of 9/11 that those who still echo those lies seem like a bunch of fools to enlightened listeners.
The most striking outcome of some of these researches, to me, is the discovery that prior to 9/11, Al-Qaida did not exist except as a data base in the CIA, where a list of all those who participated in the Afghan-American war against the Soviet Union was kept. When the Americans decided to create the terrorists needed to be blamed for the mass murder of 9/11, they dug up the list closest to them. According to most researches on this subject, Bin Laden was already on a sick bed at a Dubai hospital when 9/11 was committed. And according to some Pakistani journalists who claimed they attended his funeral, Osama bin Laden died in December 2001, three months after September 11th.
But for the next ten years an actor posed in mountainous regions, wearing army fatigues and sending war-mongering messages to the West.
He was the new Bin Laden. As long as he kept his act, they could continue their war on terror and stealing the people’s oil, in Iraq and elsewhere. Then Obama fell on hard times, he couldn’t handle the ‘birther issue’ you know, the controversy surrounding where he was born and his controversial birth certificate. He needed rescue but only something monumental could save him so Bin Laden, the actor, had to go. His administration quickly manufactured the ‘second death’ of Bin Laden. And the rest is history.
But with Bin Laden now ‘officially dead’ other terror masters have to rise to keep the myth of Islamic terrorism alive and allow the theft and brigandage to continue. And so they arise, in different shapes, colours and sizes but doing the very same thing; spilling innocent blood by bombing and killing. They tarnish the image of Islam though they claim to be jihadists and have more Muslims as their victims than adherents of any other faith.
If we had heeded Edward Griffin’s advise to start a global counter force for freedom to checkmate the excesses of his government, maybe we would have been able to unmask these actor-jihadists and expose their masterminds. We could have done this very easily if we had accepted and acted on the alternative theories of 9/11 rather than shun them. All mainstream media reject them as conspiracy theories despite having respected university professors and other professionals as researchers for 9/11 Truth. This one error on the part of media moguls has cost the world dearly and will continue to do so. As long as we do not crush the Big Lie, the small lies will continue bleeding our planet. And so like G. Edward Griffin said, welcome to our Third World War.
