Gombe State Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya yesterday said he has no quarrel with Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, a former governor of the state.

Yahaya told the BBC Hausa Service that there’s no disagreement between him and Goje but that the party’s arrangements must be abided by when it comes to leadership.

Yahaya’s position is coming amidst reports that the ruling APC in the state is enmeshed in controversies over the feud between him and Goje over who should be the party’s leader in the state.

“There is no row between him and me; it’s only that the party must give everyone a chance and remain honest,” he said.

The governor also emphasised that they all belong to the party and that the party provisions should be followed.

“If I go astray, then I should be put back on track, and if anyone goes astray they should also be brought back on the track,” he said.
