a. Nutritionists (two positions): Candidates will provide assistance for the nutrition programmes and supports the OTP sites and community health extension workers and volunteer.
Qualifications: Degree/diploma in nutrition, 3 – 5 years experience working on nutrition programmes, good monitoring and reporting skills.
b. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer: Monitors the programme activities with the nutrition officers, updates tracking tables, contributes to the reporting of activities and assist with evaluating the programme.
Qualifications: Degree in statistics, public health or related field, 5 – 7 years of experience with analysing data and reporting activity progress, good understanding of M&E tools and systems.
c. Logistics Officer: Provides logistical support and process non procurement activities including transportation of goods and staff, management of the Sokoto farcicalities and guesthouse.
Qualifications: 5 – 7 years of experience managing logistics of an international organisation, as well as experience with safety and security management, strong communication and negotiation skills.
d. Finance Officer: Assists the finance and admin director in monitoring expenditure and disbursements for programmes implementation and assist with financial reporting.
Qualifications: Degree in finance/accounting, 3 – 5 years of experience in managing expenditure and financial reporting, good understanding of financial processes and systems.
e. Human Resources and Admin Officer: Responsible for HR, contracts and monthly payroll. Assist with employment relations, recordkeeping and ensuring adherence to employment laws and policies.
Qualifications: Degree/diploma in HR management or business management, 3 – 5 years of experience in HR working for international organisations. Good interpersonal and problem solving skills. Good understanding of local and national labour laws, policies and procedures.

a. Demand Creation Officer (Niger): Candidate will work closely with the Programme Manager and team in providing technical support and direct implementation of projects for ICCM activities focused on community engagement and mobilisation. The officer will coordinate the development of demand creation strategies for the project as well as ensure roll-out of project demand activities to meet international standards
Qualification: Post graduate degree in one communication, social sciences, public health or other related disciplines is required and must have at least 3 years experience working in a developing country with excellent project health communication skills. Candidate must be excellent in communication planning, management as well as monitoring and evaluation. Excellent report writing and presentation skills are essential for this position as well as good knowledge of public health principles.
b. Service Delivery Officer (Niger): Candidate will closely work with the Porject Manager and the team in providing technical support and direct implementation of projects for ICCM activities focused on identification, training, logistics for ICCM commodities and supervision of health facility and community health workers in the state.
Qualifications: Post graduate degree in public health, health policy, epidemiology or other health related disciplines is required for this position. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a developing country with an excellent knowledge of medical supplies, procurement and supply chain management and an excellent knowledge and skills in malaria control, pneumonia and diarrhoea. Excellent report writing and presentation skills are essential for this position as well as a good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation and public health principles.
Terms of employment: appointment is for a period of 2 years, which is subject to annual grant approval by CIDA/WHO based on performance. There is a possibility of contract extension for 3 – 4 years based on overall project performance. Programme offers competitive salary packages.
