Iyanya, Prince to star in ‘Shuga’

As part of the ‘Shuga’ tradition to include trendy contemporary artistes in its cast, Iyanya and Prince will both play themselves in most of the scenes set at the Badoo Nightclub, a regular hangout for the casts in ‘Shuga’.
In the last season of ‘Shuga’, EME label mates, Banky W and WizKid were featured in the series with Kenyan star, Nameless, who featured in the first season.
Prince who expressed his excitement during one of his shoots, said “I am so grateful to the MTV Staying Alive team for offering me the opportunity to continue to express myself in new and different ways as an actor in ‘Shuga’.”
“I am so thrilled to be associated with ‘Shuga’ and to have this chance to help the MTV Staying Alive team communicate important public health messages in this exciting way.” Iyanya also commented after his campaign.
Prince and Iyanya will join the star-studded ‘Shuga’ cast which includes Maria Okanrende, Tiwa Savage, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Okezie Morro and Chris Attoh among other.
