The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has donated medical equipment to the Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital (MAWTH) and Yusuf Maitama Sule University (YUMSUK), Kano.
The JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, who made the donation in Kano, said JAMB facilitated the distribution of the medical equipment to carefully selected health facilities across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria of which Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano, is also a beneficiary.
Receiving the donations, the Vice Chancellor, YUMSUK, Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa expressed gratitude for the gesture while assuring judicious use of the equipment.

On his part, the state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who was represented by the commissioners of health, Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa and environment, Kabiru Ibrahim Getso while commending the board for finding Kano to be part of the beneficiaries, reiterated his administration’s commitment to revamping the health sector in the state.
