The governor has been away to India for about two weeks during which the leadership of the faction of the PDP he is supporting and as well as the other faction were dissolved by the National Working Committee of the PDP.

The governor said he would not comment directly on the dissolution saying, it was a party matter and which was already in Court.

Jang who spoke while addressing a group of people who came to visit him in his country home in Du village in Jos-South Local Government, described his travails as targeted at the people of the state, stressing that those behind it needed to think twice.

“The Devil has lost his battle over plateau state; we have no cause to be worried because we shall come out stronger in whatever situation we found ourselves,” he told the gathering.

The governor said Plateau is not a pariah state and could not  be isolated in the scheme of things, stressing that whatever is applicable to other states should also be applied to the state in term of decision making.
