A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Alhaji Nasir Aminu Ja’oji, has donated the sum of N10 million to Farm Centre fire victims.
On Wednesday Alhaji Nasiru Ja’oji, who holds the traditional title Sarkin Adon Hausa, visited Farm Centre, Kano’s largest phone market, to sympathise with the leaders of the market and the victims of the inferno.
He said the donation is part of his efforts to cushion the impact of the fire disaster.
Presenting the donation, Ja’oji said, “I was saddened when I heard the news of the fire outbreak at this popular phone Market. This is one of the largest markets in Kano.

“We must identify with the market leadership and all the businessmen here at this trying time.
“Whatever affects this market, affects us directly. We are happy that Kano youths come together to build this market.
“To cushion the effect of this fire accident, I am presenting a donation of the sum N10 million. I will also use youth this opportunity to call on the market leadership and all the members to be vigilant and devise ways to stop future occurrence.
