A statement by Ustaz Dahiru Adamu on behalf of the organisation said that towards realizing the objective, the  group will on Sunday, January 25, at the Eagle Square, Abuja, hold its national preaching and educational appeal fund launch to raise money for the continuation of work on the various projects spread across Nigeria and neighbouring Ghana.
The projects include building of a School for Higher Islamic Studies (SHIS) and Tahfizul Qur’an School in Kaduna; Islamic School at Miyo in Ganjuwa LGA, Bauchi State; a Juma’at Mosque in Ibadan, Oyo State; Islamic Primary and Secondary School in Bunkure, Kano State; and an Islamic Institute at Atibobo in neighbouring Ghana, Ustaz Dahiru, who is chairman of the publicity committee of the appeal fund launch said.
Meanwhile, JIBWIS National Publicity Secretary Hon. Ahmad Muhammad Ashiru, has said the organisation with its national headquarters, Jos, whose mission is the propagation and teaching of Islam based on the dictates of the Holy Qur’an, the Prophetic Hadith and the Ijma’a (consensus) of Ahlussunnah, runs both the regular school programme and weekend classes for adults and working class students, to ensure that quality education is imparted at schools nationwide and beyond.
Hon. Ashiru who stated this while speaking with Daily Trust on phone, said JIBWIS’ SHIS which is affiliated to ABU, Zaria, has over the years turned out quality graduates some of who have secured admission to pursue degree programmes in universities at home and overseas.   
He said the national preaching and educational appeal fund launch is expected to have Vice President Namadi Sambo as special guest of honour, Reps Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as guest speaker, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muh’d Sa’ad Abubakar III as chairman of the occasion while the Emir of Kano, Alh Muhammadu Sanusi II is royal father of the day and Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal the chief donor, among others.
He also said that Ash-Sheikh Muhammadu Sani Yahaya Jingir, National Chairman of the Ulama’u Council of JIBWIS, who is father of the day has called on well-to-do members of the ummah and organisations to donate towards efforts to impart the right knowledge to our children, the youth, womenfolk and Muslims as a whole in order to steer them away from indoctrination by misinformed individuals and groups who debase Islam and unleash retrogression and terror on society.
“Ash-Sheikh Muhammadu Sani Yahaya Jingir also urged Muslims to, each and every one of them, see themselves as vigilantes in order to check activities of detractors of Islam in our various communities, not only in the North East but all over Nigeria and wherever they find themselves,” the JIBWIS spokesman said.
