The centre was built and equipped by Jigawa government with collaboration from PZ Cussons and Voluntary Service Overseas Nigeria (VSON).
It cost more than N23 million in addition to the financial support for website development, electronic notice boards and 25 laser jet printers, said the college provost, Dr Dahiru Abdulqadir.
Jigawa Head of Service Aminu Dutse, who stood in for Governor Sule Lamido at the opening, said the state had since January last year patterned its policy on ICT in line with that of federal government to guide and encourage ICT skills in basic, secondary and tertiary education.
