He made the declaration in Dutse while chatting with journalists.
 He added that the state government would continue to support university education while planning carefully on the need to send students abroad for foreign studies, among others.
 The governor said government would continue to shoulder the responsibilities of paying for the West African Education Certificate (WAEC) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) for Jigawa students, adding that his government would pay more attention on training and retraining of teachers in the state.
 He said that following the financial crisis in the country, his government would prioritise its policies and programmes for maximum utilisation of available resources.
