A statement signed by the secretary of the club, Mallam Mannir Adamu said that, the new management has confirmed the placement of at least 30 players in the transfer market.

“Upon the approval of the Information and Sports Ministry as well as the State Sports Council, 30 players out of the 51 on the pay roll of the State Government were placed on transfer market for poor performance, while 21 players were retained,”

Most of the players who have been placed on transfer were recruited by the former Vice Chairman of the club, Alhaji Alili Galadima.

Similarly, the management had re instated the former Technical Adviser, Mr. Gilbert Opona in the same capacity, while Malam Ismaila Muhammad of Triumph Newspaper has been appointed as the Media Officer of the club.
