Jigawa, Malaysia universities sign agreement

Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Malaysia, will work together to develop their capacities in the fields of academics and research.
This followed the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the SLU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, and the President, UMK, Professor Dato’ Dr. Mortaza bin Mohamed who led a delegation from his university on an academic visit to SLU, Kafin Hausa.
Professor Ribadu said the collaboration will cover upgrade of teaching and supporting staff for higher studies and research, organizing academic conferences on issues of mutual concern, exchange of scholars, faculty graduate and undergraduate students for study, bench work and research as well as exchange of staff for research, teaching and discourses.
