The Police Command in Jigawa says it has lost three senior officers recently.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu, made this known to Daily Trust in Dutse, the state capital, on Tuesday.

Shiisu said the officers died between June 22 and July 5.

He said that SP Salisu Salisu Mudi, a Patrol and Guard from Babura Division, died at Federal Medical Centre Katsina, on June 22.

The spokesperson added that the command lost ASP Asabe Muhammad, the 2iC Gender Desk Office of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), on July 3.

According to him, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Yankwaahi Division, CSP Muhammad Salihu Koko, died on July 5.

Shiisu therefore, sympathised with the families and loved ones of the deceased, while praying for the repose of their souls.
