Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Babandi Abubakar, disclosed this when he led the students to the office of the Commissioner for Education, Professor Haruna Wakili, for the presentation of laptop computers to them.
Babandi said this is the fourth time since the inception of the present administration that government is paying registration and donating laptop computers to students of law, saying 53 students have benefitted so far.
Responding, Professor Wakili said the payment of registration fees, maintenance allowances and the distribution of laptops to the state’s indigenes studying in law schools is a policy that has come to stay.
