The sole administrator of the agency, Dr. Ya’u Haruna Usman, revealed this to Daily Trust in Dutse, the state capital.
Usman said adult education rate has increased by 10%, adding “in 2009 it was 39.9% but now it has risen to 51%.”
He said from 2009 to 2013 the state government has contributed a total of N434m while local governments contributed N778m to adult education.
