The Youth Coalition for Development (YCD) has advised youths in the country, especially those in Jigawa State, to embrace dialogue to press their demands rather than allowing enemies of the country to use them.
Speaking to Chronicle in Dutse, the President of the coalition, Comrade Aminu Aminu said it was regrettable that the country had witnessed an orgy of destruction during the recent #EndSARS protest.
- Stay away from Jigawa, police warn protesters
- 2 killed, arms carted away after attack on Edo police station
Aminu advised the youths to always adopt the option of constructive engagement to address challenges facing them.
This, according to him, would deny the hoodlums the opportunity of getting cover to destroy government and private properties as experienced during the recent #Endsars protest.
He said the destruction was a great loss to the nation’s economy that was recovering from the shocks of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aminu stressed the need for youths to be actively engaged in the political process of the country.
