Real estate consulting firm, JLL, has launched phase one of its online commercial property portal to the Nigerian market.

At the launch event in Victoria Island, Lagos on Wednesday, officials of the global company explained that the platform was exclusively designed and aimed at simplifying the commercial selling process by giving prospective buyers access to a full range of commercial, industrial and retail property assets for sale across Nigeria.

According to the company’s Head, West Africa, Chinwe Ajene-Sagna, the JJL online marketplace, “features detailed information on each property with the flexibility to search and enquire about commercial space by country, property type, city and suburb throughout the West African region,” adding that the tool is backed by quality service and asset information from the JLL professional team.

Ajene-Sagna expressed the company’s commitment to serving the West African region.

“Existing corporate are using the window of opportunity to upgrade into new space and interest is picking up from international investors keen to take advantage of fresh prospects.”

“Within this environment, the launch of www.propertyfinder.jll.africa supports this renewed confidence in the node,” she said.

She disclosed that supplementary phases would soon be launched to further simplify the firm’s commercial leasing process.

“In addition to the focus on sellers, the next phases will bring tenants and landlords into the mix, as well as a broader location base. Potential tenants will appreciate the flexibility of the tool when enquiring about commercial space throughout the sub-Saharan region,” Ajene-Sagna said.
