They were conferred the status in Abuja at the ‘I am priceless’ launch, a campaign against human trafficking and immigrant smuggling into the country.

UN resident coordinator, Angela Atangana  said the campaign was sponsored by the European Union (EU) and National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons (NAPTIP) and is aimed at drawing attention to the many ills in the society. “The entertainment industry has a role to play in the correction of certain ills, hence their decision to select the duo to help with the campaign.”

Wife of ace actor, Olu Jacobs, Silva was appointed the goodwill ambassador against human trafficking, as M.I was made ambassador against smuggling of migrants.

The campaign which is expected to cover   three years period will be implemented in the FCT, Niger, Lagos, Edo, Anambra, Cross River and Benue.
