 In the movie by Omoni Oboli, the women, in the hilarious interpretation of their roles do not derail from making known the reason for which they are striking.
The group of market women decides to take matters into their hands against their husbands in a bid to stir them into standing up for a young girl whom they want to protect from the wishes of her father.
On his expectation of the movie expected in cinemas next month, Moses Babatope, Chief Operating Officer of FilmOne, the distribution company for the movie, said that in Nigeria, only one producer has had the honour of three box office hits with his three movies. From the look of things, ‘Wives on Strike’ will make Oboli join that exclusive list.
