President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Mr Danladi Kilfasi as the new Head of Civil Service of the Federation.

The appointment was announced today during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which was chaired by the president.

Kilfasi, until this morning, was the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.

He replaced Mr Goni Aji who retires next Monday.
