President Goodluck Jonathan has terminated the appointment of his Special Adviser (Political), Alhaji Ahmed  Gulak with immediate effect.

Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, said in a statement Tuesday.

Abati said the president thanked Gulak for his services to the present administration and wishes him success in his future endeavours.

He said a replacement for Gulak would be announced in due course.
