President Goodluck Jonathan has nominated former Kano state Governor Malam Ibrahim Shekarau as minister representing Kano State.Others nominated also include Dr. Abdul Bulama from Yobe State, Prince Dayo Adeyeye from Ekiti and Steven Oruh representing Delta State.
In a letter addressed to Senate President David Mark, Jonathan said the nomination was in consonance with provisions of 147 subsection 2 of the 1999 constitution. The Senate is expected to commence their screening next week.
