If indeed, it is not the virulent media blitz of his prosecution of the Boko Haram insurgency in some parts of the country, it will be a calculated lampoon on the president’s media chat or a sweeping denunciation of any of his speeches at any local or international forum.
The same people who attacked Jonathan for running a weak government were the same people who decried his use of force to combat the Boko Haram onslaught. They said until there is a National Conference Nigeria would not move forward.
Now that Jonathan has set up an advisory committee to formulate templates for a National Conference/Dialogue, the same advocates of National Conference are saying that the President is not sincere. Since the evolution of the current political dispensation in 1999, no Minister of Aviation has diligently put in place the quality and quantity of infrastructure like Ms Stella Oduah, the current minister. Yet, there has never been any Minister of Aviation who has ever been vilified as Oduah.
