The Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Abok Ayuba Nuhu, says he will not kill his father because both of them practice different religions.
Abok said this during a one-day peace parley with the theme “Mutual Coexistence; Panacea for Peace and Development, organised by the member representing Jos North-North in the Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Baba Hassan, held at Lamonde Conference, Hall, Jos.

The speaker whose father practices Islam said those who claimed to have fought in the state because of religion were lying, saying they were hiding under the banner of religion for personnel goal as no religion preached violence.
He ‘however, called on people in the state to unite and live in peace with one another irrespective of ethno-religious affiliation as nothing was better than peace.
