The  Christian Association of Nigeria Kaduna State Chapter has elected Reverend Joseph  Hayab as new Chairman.

Reverend Hayab was elected  on January 14, 2019  by 13 out of a 15-man electoral college which comprised of 15 bishops in the state.

He promised to promote dialogue between Muslims and Christians in order to achieve religious harmony in the state.

He called on politicians to be cautious of their speeches and to avoid statements capable of inciting people against each other.

Reverend Hayeb once held  the position of  CAN Secretary in the state years back.
