A few minutes after 11:am journalists were given access to the venue of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential primary.
Earlier on journalists on duty for the convention were not allowed access to the main bowl of Adokiye Amiesiekema stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State by fierce looking security personnel, Daily Trust corespondent observed.
There was serious argument between journalists and the security operatives at the entrance of the stadium, with security personnel threatening to use force to clear the pressmen.
A delegate for the convention, had told Daily Trust that barring journalists from the coverage is part of the shoddy deal the party leadership is adopting to favour a particular aspirant.
