Linus  is an intellectual with two Masters degrees while Simon is a taxi driver having not acquired any education. They both earn just enough to get by though Linus is currently unemployed.

It is the eve of the celebration of the country’s independence and Simon comes home from work and cannot find his flag.
The drama will be staged for three days beginning from October 7th 2010, to the 9th at the French Cultural Centre, Wuse 2.

Patrick-Jude Oteh, artistic director of the group informed that, “this will be followed by the Spanish play, La vida es sueno (Life is a dream) by Calderon de la Barca on  October 19th, 2010 as part of the annual Spanish Week. We will let you know the venue for this with the permission of the Spanish Embassy, Nigeria.  We will round up the month with the stage adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart on October 28th, 29th and 30th.
The organisation he said will be ten years old in November. “Part of our celebrations will include a performance of Wole Soyinka’s Madmen and Specialists.”
