A retired judge of the Lagos State Judiciary, Hon. Justice Caroline Olufawo, has canvassed the re-integration of civic education into the schools’ curricula across the country.
 The judge said civic education will inculcate the spirit of patriotism in Nigerian youths in their early stages of development.
 Justice Olufawo who is also the founder of Caroline Foundation, made the call in Ibadan recently while speaking at the annual graduation and prize giving day of Bola Immaculate Group of Schools, Ibadan.
 The retired judge expressed hope that with early exposure of youths to civic education, they would be able to imbibe, early in life, the fundamentals of democracy as well as the constitutional obligations of the citizenry.
 Speaking earlier, the President of Bola Immaculate Schools, Mrs. Bola Doherty, asked parents to invest in the future of their children by giving them quality education “so that at the end of the day, they would be judged to have satisfactorily met their parental obligations.”
She also enjoined students to always strive for the best in their academic pursuit.
