The land dispute between Grandscope Construction Company and Emir General Integrated Limited has taken a new twist as Justice Fati Musa of High Court No. 7 in Gombe announced her withdrawal from the case due to personal interest.

During the court’s session on Wednesday, Justice Fati Musa declared that she would no longer preside over the matter, citing reasons she described as personal. 

She further stated that the case file would be returned to the Chief Judge for reassignment to another judge.

In an interview, Barrister Daniel Tsaro, counsel for Grandscope Construction Company, acknowledged the judge’s decision, noting that she had the right to withdraw if personal interests were at stake.

 Similarly, Suleiman Abdurrahim, representing Emir General Integrated Limited, expressed understanding of the judge’s action.
