The management of the Julius Berger Plc has donated palliatives to the authorities of Kuje area council to assist in cushioning the impact of the partial lockdown imposed to curb the Covid -19 pandemic.
The Head of Media Relations of the company, Barrister Moses Duku, who presented 150 bags of rice and 150 cartons of condiments to the chairman of the council, Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, at the council secretariat yesterday, said the donation was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, aimed at helping the vulnerable.
Receiving the palliatives, the council chairman, Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, commended Julius Berger group for the donation.
He assured that the council would ensure the palliatives were given to the vulnerable ones across the council, even as he expressed his sincere condolences to the families of those that lost their loved ones as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
