Engineering construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have pledged to strengthen their partnership to improve road safety and reduce traffic incidents across the country.

This renewed commitment was made during a courtesy visit by the new FRSC FCT Sector Commander, Corps Commander Felix N. Theman, to Julius Berger’s headquarters in Abuja recently.

Theman, who led a delegation of senior officers, commended the company’s long-standing support and its reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure.

Theman emphasized that reckless driving and disregard for traffic laws are major contributors to road crashes, and urged stronger public education and adherence to road safety principles.

He recalled Julius Berger’s previous donations of traffic cones and reflective jackets, which, he said, significantly supported FRSC’s operations.

Responding, Julius Berger’s Director of Administration, Alh. Dr. Abdulaziz Isa Kaita, welcomed the FRSC team and expressed the company’s continued commitment to collaboration with the Corps.

“At Julius Berger, we don’t see ourselves merely as contractors; we see ourselves as partners in national development,” Kaita said.
