Justice Akanbi to chair Daily Trust Dialogue…Jega, Ezekwesili, Gen. Dambazau, Bishop Idowu-Fearon to speak

The dialogue, which has the theme: “2015 Elections: How To Make Nigeria The Winner,” will have the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Professor Attahiru Jega as Special Guest of Honour.
Three distinguished Nigerians have confirmed their invitations to speak at the event slated for Thursday, January 22, 2015, at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Speakers who have confirmed their participation are Lt. General Abdulrahman B. Dambazau, former Chief of Army Staff; Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, former Vice President for African Region, World Bank; and Bishop Josiah Idowu-Fearon, the Anglican Bishop of the Kaduna Diocese.
The annual Daily Trust Dialogue has become a veritable forum for ventilation of ideas that can advance democracy and promote good governance in Nigeria and Africa.
The public event is usually graced by well-meaning Nigerians including former heads of government, state governors, members of the National Assembly, public officials, academics, corporate chieftains and students.
The dialogue had also attracted prominent Africans including former President Jerry Rawlings, Mrs Winnie Mandela, former President Festus Mogae, Dr. Mo. Ibrahim, former Prime Minister Salim Ahmed Salim and Ms. Samia Kwame-Nkrumah.
