On the other hand, JUTH with just 29 points from 35 matches lost 0-1 away to Bukola Babes last weekend and would like to avoid another defeat.
Any match involving the two Plateau clubs is always full of tension and this encounter is not going to be different.
Already the vice-chairman of JUTH, Isa Mailafia has expressed his team’s readiness to fight Plateau United to the finish as he ruled out the possibility of match fixing.
In a chat with Feverpitch, the club chairman said JUTH would do its best to beat United which is also struggling to avoid relegations.
He said victory in the remaining matches may not save his club from relegation but the most important thing is avoid ending as the last club on the table”.
“We are working hard to beat Plateau United. Winning our remaining matches may not save us from relegation but we would not like to end as the last team on the log.
“We are going to fight till the end. JUTH has nothing to do with match fixing. It is a criminal and we would not like to be associated with it”.
