Juventus F.C Kachia defeated Gumel Lionsy 3-1 to lift the well contested trophy

The defeated Gumel lions also went home with Silver and cash while the bronze winners, City Rollers also went home with cash.

Dr. Austin Baba Hyuwah, chairman Interim Management Committee, Kachia Local government who spoke through Mr. David Maga, supervisory Councilor for education and Social development, commended the efforts of Hon. Bello Sani Abubakar for sponsoring the competition which according to him, contributed to peace, unity and development of the area.

He called on people of the area to continue to maintain peace, which will attract governmental projects

The chairman also revealed that Kachia chairman’s cup soccer competition will soon commence and implored all football clubs across the local government to prepare to participate.

The sponsor of the competition, Hon. Bello Sani commended all participating teams for their maturity and cooperation which contributed to the peaceful and successful completion of the tournament, which he said will be an annual event. (NAN)
