The Government Secondary School, Kachia Old Students Association (KACHOSA) has disclosed plans to present an award of excellence to the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, for reinvigorating the education sector at its golden jubilee slated for December, 2017.

The association in a statement signed by the Chairman, Organizing Committee, Dr. Adamu Sani said as part of the activities lined up for the jubilee, the old boys will lay foundation for the school gate which would be named ‘GOLDEN JUBILEE GATE.

The statement added that the association also honour some distinguished personalities who have contributed to the growth of the school in various aspects.

Government Secondary School Kachia was established in 1967 as the first public secondary school in the entire southern part of Kaduna State.
