Tukur stated this during the 2013/2014 matriculation ceremony that the authorities at ABU, Zaria granted the approval following a long time request for the Kaduna College to commence awarding degrees which they approved after several inspections.
“Our B.Ed programmes will be an affiliate of ABU. The courses to be run include English, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Geography and Social Studies.
Others are: Educational Administration and Planning, Guidance and Counseling, Economics and Home Economics,” Tukur said.
The acting Provost said all the approved courses will commence lectures at the 2014/2015 academic session.
He called on the matriculated students to make the best use of the opportunity by putting in their efforts to achieve what they were admitted to. Barrister Nehemiah Ambisa administered the oath on 2, 570 admitted students.
