Kaduna State government has embarked on house to house  polio immunization for children below five years  across the  state.

The immunization commenced on  ‎Nov 10 and will end on  Nov 13.

In a statement  issued in Kaduna the Coordinator of Journalists Initiative on Immunization against Polio (JAP) Kaduna State chapter Lawal A. Dogara said the exercise would target children on the streets.

He said the teams would visit markets, motor parks and highways to immunise the children.

Dogara called on parents and caregivers to ensure they make their children available for immunization during the campaign

He also urged them to ensure they take them for routine immunization in nearby health centres or hospitals.

Similarly the coordinator statement to the traditional rulers and religious leaders continue to give all the needed support for the successful conduct of the exercise.
