The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has inaugurated its 81 officials that will participate in the 2022 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Yusuf Yakub Arrigasiyyu, disclosed this at a maiden meeting with the officials at the Kaduna Muslim Hajj Transit Camp, Mando, Kaduna.

He said the meeting was aimed at training and enlightening officials that would be leading pilgrims in the holy land.
He emphasised that officials must be in their uniforms while in the holy land for easy identification stressing that, they are in Saudi Arabia to help and support the pilgrims.
The officials comprised of various committees including the medical team, guides, the media, Islamic scholars and those in charge of food and accommodation.
While urging them to be their brother’s keepers in the holy land, he called on them to pray for Governor Nasir El-Rufa’I, Kaduna State and the country at large.
On his part, the Head of Operations, Abubakar Alhassan, called on the officials to continuously render selfless service to the pilgrims.
Also, the Head of Enlightenment, Hajiya Hadiza Yahaya, urged the officials to be patient with the pilgrims and do their utmost best to assist and enlighten them, as it is a way to attain paradise.
