An aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming local government election for Kaduna South Local Government Council, Zailani Musa has said that he joined the race only to provide good governance and improve the lives of youth and women of the area.
According to him, youths and women were the bedrock of development in the society and therefore needed their lives improved. He stated this shortly after declaring his ambition to contest. He said Kaduna South Local Government deserves better leadership, which he is ready to offer.
Zailani said if elected, he will establish a skills acquisition centre to empower youth and women as part of his plans to address unemployment problems in the area.
“We would carry everybody along irrespective of religion and tribal differences. I only accepted to join this race because I believe our youths and women deserve better leadership. Our aim is to develop the local government and empower women and youth irrespective of religion and tribal difference because they are the bedrock of the society.”
He thanked all stakeholders in the local government for their support and assured them of his loyalty if given the chance to serve as the chairman of the local government.
