The Kaduna Branch of Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) has commended Governor Uba Sani for appointing its members to critical positions of service and leadership.

In a statement issued by the Chairman of Kaduna Branch, Barrister Baba Lawal Aliyu, the NBA further said that such appointments underscore the ‘’trust and confidence he continues to place in our members.’’

The statement congratulated Barrister James Kanyip(PhD) on his appointment as Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, describing him as ‘’a committed and highly respected member of the NBA Kaduna Branch, renowned for his intellectual depth, principled stance, and unwavering dedication to the rule of law.’’

The Kaduna NBA Chairman further said that the ‘’Branch is confident that he will bring vision, innovation, and integrity to the Ministry’’, adding that it looks ‘’forward to continued partnership and productive engagement with the Ministry of Justice under Dr. Kanyip’s leadership.’’

The statement also noted that Barr. Sule Shuaibu(SAN), the new Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, served ‘’ with distinction as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. ‘’

‘’During his two-year tenure, Barr. Shuaibu introduced far-reaching reforms that strengthened institutional efficiency, expanded access to justice, and elevated the profile of the Ministry.’’

The NBA Chairman further said that Kaduna ‘’ Branch deeply appreciates his outstanding contributions and wishes him continued success in his new role.’’
