Kaduna NMA gets new exco

The Kaduna State Chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) has elected new executives to steer its affairs for the next two years.
The newly elected executives are Dr Abdulrahman Shehu, chairman; Dr Stephen Kache, vice chairman; Dr Moses T. Tuko, secretary; Dr Baton B. Ayuba, deputy secretary; Dr Isa K. Bansi, treasurer; Dr Habiba Zubairu Dabo, financial secretary and Dr Bola Biliyaminu Lawal, public relations officer.
The new chairman, in his inaugural speech, said: that the Hippocratic oath shall be the association’s guide in terms of intra professional relationships.
“We must consolidate our brotherhood as professionals. This is a cardinal focus of my administration and I shall take deliberate steps to pursue this cause. Bridging information gaps is another issue we intend to focus on. The public deserves the right to health information and there is no better person to give such than the doctor, hence,  my resolve to ensure that we make dissemination of health information a priority in this dispensation,” he said.
