Kaduna pilgrims board gets head of operations

The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (KSMPWB) has appointed Alhaji Sani Dalhatu Musa as the head of operations. The appointment is with immediate effect.
Before his appointment, Musa was an assistant director of operations and the zonal coordinator in charge of Zone II. He was a pilgrim officer of Kudan, Giwa, Chikun, Kaduna North, and Igabi local governments. He was also the coordinator of Kaduna Hajj Camp and Airport, and head of Turaddudiya committee since 2011.
In 2013, Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero awarded him the public service Award of Excellence. He was the best pilgrims’ officer in 1998, 2000, 2012, and 2013. He got an Award of Excellence in Saudi Arabia by Muassassah No. 2 in 2011 and 2012.
The new director of operations holds a Master degree in Public Administration, and Bachelor of Arts degree in Local Government and Development Studies, from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He acquired a diploma in Hospitality and Tourism, and another diploma in International Travel and Tourism, from the National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism. He attended a course on international air travel from IATA/UFTAA Foundation and EBT, Montreal, Canada in 2011.
