Kaduna probes exam cheating

The Kaduna State Quality Assurance Board has said it will set up a special committee to investigate schools suspected to have been involved in examination malpractice during the May/June Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE).

Mrs. Maureen Wyom, the Executive Director of the board, made the disclosure in an interview in Kaduna; saying, the decision was reached at the end of SSCE monitoring exercise by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).

“We observed that there is improvement in compliance with examination ethics and guidelines, but there are some schools that must be invited for questioning,” she said.
