Hary Kane scored a second half hattrick to ensure Bayern Munich wins the German Cup with a 3-0 victory over VFB Stuttgart at the Olympic stadium in Berlin.
The England striker set to lead his country at the 2026 World Cup, ended the season with a hattrick, ensuring coach Vincent Kompany’s side sealed a domestic double of Bundesliga title and German Cup.
It is the German giants’ first domestic double in six years, and Kane finished the competition with 10 goals to break Thomas Muller’s record of eight goals and set his own record.
Ayern also win their first German Cup since 2020.
Stuttgart were intense in the first half but could not make most of their opportunities in a half Bayern were not in their rhythm.
The Bavarians improved in the second period and Kane produced a diving header for the first goal on 57 minutes, before doubling the lead ten minutes to the end with a composed low strike into the bottom corner on the turn.
The 32-year-old striker added ore gloss with a penalty on 90 minutes.
Bayern Munich secured their 21st German Cup trophy after the final whistle, and the double in the 13th in the club’s history.
