Famous multiple award winning Kannywood actress Hadiza Aliyu popularly known as Hadiza Gabon in the Hausa film industry has celebrated her birthday with a group of Almajiris in Kaduna state.

The actress who has been celebrating her birthday each year with the less privileged at orphanages has decided to celebrate her birthday this year with the Almajiris in Kaduna. According to her, these are people who need care and concern adding that she intended to provide that to these children during her birthday celebration.

It was also gathered that the actress also had organized a series of activities to show love to her community members and also to the less privileged during this year’s Ramadan period.

The actress started by distribution of food items to her neighbours at her Medile residence in Kano state and also held a special fast breaking (Iftar) with inmate of Malan Mamman reformative centre in Kano.

“Ramadan period is a period of giving a period to show love to all and it is a period to show to the less privileged that they are loved. It is a period to show concern to the welfare of your neighbours and other people in the community. Just like every year, I have chosen to mingle and mix with the less privilege and make them smile with a lot to eat and drink during the Iftar. We pray for God’s guidance and protection to ourselves, to the nation and to the world in general,” said Hadiza Gabon.

One of the reformative centre inmates described Hadiza Gabon as a role model worth emulating. “She has a very tender heart, so caring and simple. What she did today has proven to us here that we are not here because we are rejected but because someone somewhere want us to be good,” said one of the inmate.
