A kannywood ace actor cum movie producer and director, the christened king of the movie industry, Ali Nuhu has presented the executive governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje an award of excellence over his support to the industry.
He presented the award last Saturday at the unveiling of one of his latest films MUTUM DA ADININ SA at the government house.
The film seeks to sensitized Nigerians on the need to live in peace and harmony with one another in spite of religious differences devoid of any rancour for the overall socio-economic development of the country.
Kannywood is one of the fastest growing indigenous film-making industries in Nigeria besides the Nollywood.
For over 25 years of existence, the industry has being the major employer to teeming jobless but talented youths in the northern part of the country.
