It has always been well documented that Kano state is the political base of President Muhammadu Buhari. On numerous occasions, the President himself had acknowledged the significance of Kano state to his ascendancy in politics.

Our passion and commitment to the cause of President Buhari is unmatched anywhere in the country including his home state of Katsina. The love we have demonstrated to the president is unprecedented in the political history of this great nation. We remain resolute and firm in our conviction that President Buhari is the answer to our problems of insecurity, corruption, economic decline and immorality.

Our support for the president still remains intact. In spite of our unflinching support to the president, there is a growing feeling of frustration among the people in the state, people are beginning to ask questions bordering on the president’s inability to visit the state in spite of the fact that so many things had happened that ordinarily should have warranted the visit especially the high profile incidences of fire outbreaks at Kasuwar Kurmi, Singer Market and Sabon Gari market separately. The President had visited so many states in the country except Kano state. We are appealing to the president to put Kano state on his priority list in terms of dividends of democracy because of the massive votes we have given the president during the 2015 general election. 

We have many dams in the state, therefore the federal government should explore the possibility of utilising those dams for massive irrigation activities in order to compliment government’s efforts towards diversifying the country’s economy. The federal government should equally assist the state government with financial and technical supports to accelerate our Independent Power Project (IPP) so that our industries in Sharada and Challawa could be resuscitated.

These requests if granted would go a very long way in checkmating the nagging problems of unemployment and many vices in the state because majority of the youths who are directly affected could be engaged in many activities that could shape their lives to become more productive to the society. Lastly, it should be understood that Kano people will forever remain loyal to President Muhammadu Buhari under all circumstnces.
