Kano state government has employed over 3, 000 health workers to strengthen its health care delivery system, the state Commissioner of Health, Dr Kabiru Ibrahim Getso, said.
The commissioner stated this when the state government hosted representatives of various development partners to a Sallah reception at the government house.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the state government, Malam Abba Anwar said the commissioner also revealed that since the coming of Ganduje’s administration, more than 300 health care facilities were either upgraded or renovated.
In his address, Governor Abdullahi Umar Gaduje said development partners were not relenting in their efforts toward improving health care delivery system in the state in particular and the country in general.
The governor said with the determination and support being received by the state government. the health sub-sector in the state would witness tremendous development in the near future.
